Faster publishing and percentage display

With today’s quick update you’ll be able to publish your data rooms much more rapidly – and also you’ll be able to see the percentage of the progress.

Further on with desktop notifications enabled, you’ll receive a desktop notification once your data room has been successfully published.

GDPR, DPA and Privacy Policy update

At pitchXO, you will always be in control of how and what for your data is used for. We employ industry standard data security policies to ensure data collection, processing, storage, and access is done with appropriate care for your company personal data.

We are fully committed to complying with GDPR and aim to make compliance with data transfer requirements straight forward for our users. For this we have created a dedicated GDPR page at https://gdpr.pitchxo.com.

If you qualify as a data controller under GDPR and need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place with vendors that process company personal data on your behalf, you can sign a DPA on our GDPR page.

We have also updated our privacy agreement, and you can review it as always on https://pitchxo.com/privacy/

If you have any questions or requests, please let us know. We’re here to help.

Add Downloads to your secure Data Room

We have just released the Download Center.

You can now upload a variety of documents to your data room which your leads can download securely after logging in.

Security wise each download request creates a unique link for the user, which expires after a few seconds – so the download links cannot be shared easily.

You will also see which files your leads downloaded in your lead email report.

Please note that once a file is downloaded, access control is out of your reach of course.

Landing Pages are now Data Rooms

Based on feedback from multiple customers, we’ve rebranded landing pages now to data rooms – as that’s what your pitchXO installations really are.

Data Rooms to store your confidential information in. In the coming weeks we’ll be updating all documentation and support texts to reflect these changes.

You can now toggle if Email Login requires OTPs or not

Yet another update to pitchXO’s email login functionality :

When a lead logs in with their email address, we usually send them a PIN number to their email address, so we can make sure the lead actually owns the email address they logged in with.

Today we’ve added a switch to disable this PIN check. You might want to use this in cases where only you share the data room with a selected few people and trust them to use their proper email addresses.

Please note : Disabling the PIN confirmation is a security risk, however it reduces the sign up friction for high valued leads.

We do not recommend to disable the PIN confirmation on publicly linked data rooms, like your main investor page.

On a side-note we have also overhauled the layouts of the press and video pages today.

Email whitelists – allow instant access to your data room based on email domains

Today we’ve added a new feature : Email whitelists. With email whitelists you can set rules in pitchXO, which allow to fine-grain which of your leads should be auto-approved automatically.

This is an easy way to whitelist whole company segments of your leads, so they don’t have to wait up for manual approval.

E.g. if you’re sharing your presentation with a client called “Investment Bank”, you’d add an entry for “*@investmentbank.com” to your whitelist filters.

Now any new leads that would sign up with their “name@investmentbank.com” email would be automatically approved and could see your presentations right away.

We hope this helps you in reducing friction when sharing secured content with your leads.
